St. Louis University freshman and future Bundesliga star Vedad Ibisevic scores four goals in the first half as St. Louis U. defeats the University of Alabama-Birmingham, 5-1, in the semifinals of the Conference USA tournament in Memphis. Ibisevic will be named NCAA freshman of the year and will turn pro after his single season with the Billikens. He will score 28 goals in 83 appearances for Bosnia and Herzegovina, and will score 127 goals, tying him for 27th all-time in Germany’s Bundesliga.
