The Aldines win the first Muny League championship with a 5-3 win over the Blue Wings at Fairground Park before several thousand fans. (One newspaper estimates 2,500 watched. Another puts the total at 7,000). Jake Ratz scores three goals, including the game-winner with 10 minutes to play. Cliff Brady tallies the Aldines’ other goals. Mike Keenoy has two goals for the Blue Wings. The final concludes a successful initial season for the league, the first fully organized amateur soccer league in St. Louis. The league will continue until 1957.
