The St. Louis Storm lose 8-6 on the road to the Tacoma Stars despite 3 goals from prolific scorer Thompson Usiyan and a goal and 2 assists from future U.S. Soccer Hall of Famer Preki. Future U.S. Soccer Hall of Famer Fernando Clavijo also scores for the Storm. Usiyan will score 92 goals in 97 appearances during his two-year St. Louis Storm career. His professional career will cover 15 seasons indoors and outdoors that will include 11 matches with the St. Louis Ambush. The Nigerian native set the NCAA Division I scoring record with 109 career goals at Appalachian State University from 1977-1980.
