Tim Ream, who makes his living preventing goals, becomes the second St. Louisan to score in the English Premier League when he fires home a goal in the 71st minute for Fulham against Crystal Palace. Fulham wins, 3-0. Ironically, Ream scores exactly five years after heading in a goal for Fulham in its 4-2 win over Cardiff City in the second-division English Championship. (Josh Sargent became the first St. Louisan to score in the Premier League when he netted two for Norwich City against Watford on Jan. 21, 2022.) Ream is the first St. Louisan to play in the Premier League, making his Premier League debut with Bolton on Feb. 25, 2012. He has appeared in 50 games for the U.S. Men’s National Team, more than any other St. Louisan except Mike Sorber. Ream’s latest caps came in the 2022 World Cup, when he played every minute of the USA’s four matches.
