St. Louis native Tim Rooney gains his 400th men’s junior college coaching victory as Lewis & Clark blanks Lincoln Land, 6-0. The landmark victory comes a year after Rooney notched his 400th women’s junior college coaching victory. Rooney will retire after the 2021 season as the winningest women’s coach in NJCAA soccer history with 476 wins and two NJCAA titles. His career will span 1986-2017 as men’s coach and 1993-2021 as women’s coach, all at Lewis & Clark in Godfrey, Ill.
