The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports that the Blue Bells of East St. Louis have won the city soccer championship with a 13-1-1 record. The team is comprised mostly of Scottish railroad workers. They closed out the season on Feb. 8 with a rousing 5-0 victory over the Hibernians at Broadway Park in East St. Louis. The Shamrocks are second in the league. The defending city champions, the Kensingtons, finish the 1891 season in third place with an 8-4-2 record.
