Let’s talk soccer at Hearth & Soul with Dave Lange, author of “Soccer Made in St. Louis: A History of the Game in America’s First Soccer Capital” from Reedy Press, and Lindsay Kennedy-Eversmeyer, men’s head soccer coach at Southwestern Illinois College and match day analyst for St. Louis CITY Soccer Club. Learn about how St. Louis became America’s first soccer capital, with a focus on great women who have played at the highest levels of the sport and who have spearheaded the drive to bring Major League Soccer to St. Louis. A ball skills demonstration, and sales and signing of “Soccer Made in St. Louis,” will cap the night’s program. This event is free and open to the public.
