Join friends, fans and St. Louis CITY supporters groups for fun, festivities and a watch party at the Supporter Fest at 9 Mile Garden. Author Dave Lange will be on hand to sell and sign copies of “Year One: St. Louis CITY SC,” from Reedy Press, from 5 p.m. until the 7:30 p.m. kickoff of CITY’s match vs. the Houston Dynamo. The book chronicles St. Louis CITY’s record-setting 2023 season, perhaps the best regular season by an expansion team in the history of American sports. CITY won the Western Conference regular-season championship, marking “the first time an expansion team in the United States’ five major men’s sports leagues has done that in its first season,” according to USA TODAY. The book’s foreword is written by Joey Zanaboni, CITY’s Y98 and Apple TV broadcaster. The Supporter Fest is organized by STL Santos and includes all CITY supporters’ groups.
